Biography
Composer, conductor and artistic producer, between 2001 and 2008 he graduated in Composition (with A. Solbiati) with full marks and honors, Orchestra Conducting (D. Agiman), Piano (G. Ottaiano), Choral Music and Choir Conducting.
He is the founder and director of the Syntax Ensemble and of the RecPulsing Studio in Milan. He has been awarded in various international competitions and has received commissions from international institutions, including Ensemble Intercontemporain, Orchestra Nazionale di Santa Cecilia Roma, La Biennale di Venezia, Radio France, Teatro Petruzzelli Bari, Arena di Verona, Teatro Massimo Palermo, Teatro Donizetti Bergamo, Milano Musica. His works have been conducted by Antonio Pappano, Matthias Pintscher, Susanna Mälkki, Pascal Rophé, Marco Angius, Emilio Pomarico. He has written soundtracks and four operas. He is represented by the publishing house Suvini Zerboni Milano.
As conductor he made his debut at the Ticino Music Festival. His career has led him to conduct operatic, symphonic and chamber music productions in international festivals. Alongside the classical repertoire, Pasquale is an artistic producer for various Italian record companies. He has produced and directed the compositions for several television shows for RAI broadcasters.
He currently teaches Composition at the Conservatory of Music “G. Verdi” in Como and at the “Claudio Abbado – Scuola Civica” in Milan.
